What this story may lack in steam it makes up for in clever writing, great plot and well-developed characters. I was intrigued in the very beginning. Three sisters, marriage of convenience in the 21st century, and assuaging someone’s guilt for a wrong done many years before.The Delaney family’s café, Bearberry Brews is hit with hard times. If something doesn’t happen soon, they are going to have to close for good. A match made in … really?First of a series of standalones, this book was a great introduction to the family and the three sisters: Nell, Charlotte and Misty. This story is about 30yo Nell Delaney and her long-held crush on 32yo Grant Williams. So funny whether the reader is “hearing” what Nell thinks or her conversations with Grant, this book will have you smiling. One exception near the ending, which in my opinion is TV-movie-worthy. If you like strong women on a mission and her handsome target getting their HEA, read this book. I volunteered to read an ARC of this book through Entangled/NetGalley. I loved it!
